Orlando DUI Arrest 22 year old Woman Arrested in Orlando Following DUI AccidentORLANDO, FL – A 22-year-old Casselberry woman was arrested for causing a car accident while under the influence of alcohol on Wednesday.

Shaylyn Gabrielle Brady was driving on the wrong side of the road when she crashed into another vehicle in the eastbound lanes of S.R. 408 at around 12:45 a.m., near Bumby Avenue.

An officer had seen her on the wrong side of S.R. 408 when she hit another vehicle, causing it to go up a guardrail and then flipping on its side. The driver of the second vehicle sustained minor hand injuries.

Officer Kristine Rosado reported that when she approached Brady’s car, she could smell the “overwhelming” odor of alcohol.

Brady informed Rosado she had come from Señor Frog’s, a bar and restaurant on International Drive, and had also gone to a friend’s house. Brady said she knew she was going the wrong way on S.R. 408 but “does not know how she got there.”

Rosado said Brady’s speech was slurred and her eyes were bloodshot. She refused to get out of her car twice before submitting to field-sobriety tests, which she failed.

Brady was taken into custody and tests revealed her blood-alcohol level was .212 percent – over twice the legal limit of .08 percent. She was charged with driving under the influence, property damage and personal injury. She was held at the Orange County Jail before being bonded out.
